'In The Studio' is an independent jewellery school offering short courses to the general public as well as people working within the field of jewellery. The courses are of two or five days duration covering basic jewellery making to specialist courses such as sculpting for casting and hand engraving. All lecturers have BA Hons degrees in jewellery and teaching qualifications, as well as a combined total of working many years in the trade. The small jewellery school is also residential, offering very comfortable English country cottage accommodation. A Victorian barn hosts the workshop and lecture room adjacent to the cottage accommodation. | |

The Whitney Jewellery School accommodates up to six students with a fully equipped workshop and vacuum casting
room. Each work station will have it's own jewellery bench and basic tools required. The Jewellery school is
open to everyone interested jewellery making. The school courses start at 9:30 and finish at 5:00 with with 1/2 hour for lunch. There will be a welcome pack sent you upon booking your course. Guy Whitney is a professional Goldsmith with over 25 years experience and is the owner and head instructor at the Whitney Jewellery School. |
